Day 2

 

Full Orientation tour of Cape Town followed by a visit to Table Mountain (The Bo-Kaap a place where the freed slaves settled) and Robben Island weather permitting.
Depending on the size of the group the Bo-Kaap tour may be a short walking experience

Day 3

 

Today you will meet your guide who will take you to Cape Point in the Table Mountain National Park (the most South Westerly point of the African Continent) passing through small fishing towns and Simonstown (a British Naval Base for about 100 years and now home of the South African Navy) you will be told the story of Just Nuisance a great Dane dog which attached its self to the British Sailors in WW2, we will also visit the penguin colony at Boulders beach.

Day 4


Day tour to the Cape Wine lands visiting Paarl (birth of the Afrikaans language in the Cape.

Stellenbosch(named by Simon VD Stel first Governor of the Cape) & Franschhoek (birth of the viticulture industry then started by the Huguenots who left France to escape religious persecution)and sampling wine tasting at 3 wine farms including lunch at Muratie wine Farm

Day5

 

Transfer back to Cape Town International Airport to connect with your flight home unless you are extending your stay with by taking a Garden Route or Western Cape
