Founder: Mrs. Mandy Makazana
Mrs Mandy Makazana was one of the students in the frontline during the 1976 Soweto Student uprising
Her achievements includes the following: 1997 Nominated by South African Tourism Board as best Tour Operator 2007 Geneva Winner of the 32nd International Award for Tourist, Hotel and Catering Industry in Spain
She is involved in the following community projects: With Kliptown youth she helped to establish an educational programs by raising funds for the centre wheres tourists are sending donations to assist the project. She assisted with the Feeding Scheme in Regina Mundi Historical Church by asking companies to donate food to feed the poor every Thursdays. In 2007 she organised a christmas outing for disadvantaged kids with her French friends and planning an event to be annually. She helps in collecing clothes from some White South African tourist and donate to the poor commnity She has donated a Day Care Centre in Motswaledi Squatter Camp and bought furniture and playing equipment She has adopted a boy from the poor community
Job Creation: She has created jobs for young people in the squatter camps by taking Tourists on walking tours to their community and. During those tours, tourists buy food from the local business shops and distribute food themselves to the people’s homes. She has help the youth to start-up a Flee Market in Motswaledi Squatter Camp where the young entrepreneurs sells their art works to tourists. She has helped an Artist in Soweto Diepkloof Extention nick named Shorty to open his own Street Art Gallery which has been included in her tour map.
